General-purpose I/O function (Data I/O which access I/O port directly) Input This board reads the digital signal of a maximum of 32ch given from outside into the group constituted per 8ch, and sends it out to the system equipped with the board. Access to this board from a system is performed through four input ports set up by PCI BIOS. If these input ports are read by execution of IN command, the buffer gate applicable to the input port will be opened, and the digital signal given from external equipment will be taken in per group. At this time, the signal sent out to a system serves as negative logic. Moreover, it connects with the interruption circuit, and 4ch of 32 inputs can be summarized to the interruption signal of 1ch, they can interrupt system, and can take out demand signal. Output This board writes out the digital signal of a maximum of 32ch to external equipment into the group constituted per 8ch. Access to this board from system is performed through four output ports by which PCI BIOS setup is carried out. If data is written out to output port by execution of OUT command, data will be held in the latch circuit applicable to the output port. And digital signal is sent out to the external equipment connected per group through a transistor, after being electrically insulated by Opto-isolated. At this time, the signal sent out to external equipment serves as negative logic. Moreover, as for the data on a latch circuit, the state is held until OUT command is executed again. <I/O function of a bits unit Data can be outputted and inputted to one arbitsrary point (1 bit) without being conscious of I/O Address. <I/O function of group unit Data can be outputted and inputted to one arbitsrary group (8 point unit) without being conscious of I/O Address. <Digital Filter function The noise and chattering of input signal can be prevented in hardware. <Monitor ability of output data Signal data outputted now is known. <Handshake function Data communications by the STB/ACK signal can be performed. <Interruption control function Interruption signal is controllable. 	It is the interface board of Compact PCI bus conformity, and can be used by the expansion slot of the system based on Compact PCI. Noise-proof nature is improving by insulated I/O by Opto-Isolated. Four groups and digital current sauce type signal of 32ch can be inputted by making 8ch into one group. Four groups and digital current sink type signal of 32ch can be inputted by making 8ch into one group. 4ch of 32 input signal can be used interrupution input, an interrupt signal combined by internal circuit is outputted to a system. Output rating is designed by the large scale of a maximum of 35V, 100 mA per point. The following functions other than general-purpose I/O are prepared. Example) Digital filter can be covered over input signal. Monitor of the output data can be carried out. Data communications by the STB/ACK signal can be performed. Digital I/O can be performed per bits.
